Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AiClean: Phone Storage Cleaner, its website, and related features (collectively, the "Service").
By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how AiClean accesses, uses, and protects information and is part of your relationship with us. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
Eligibility
The Service is not directed to children under 13. You must be at least 13 and old enough to consent to use the Service under the laws that apply to you.
If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you. Do not use the Service if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.
What AiClean provides
AiClean provides tools that may help you:
- Scan and review supported photos and videos available to the application
- Identify files that may be duplicates, visually similar, unnecessary, or suitable for optimization
- Choose photos or videos to keep or delete
- Compress videos using settings you select
- Connect a Google account and review or manage Gmail messages by category
Scan results, similarity groupings, quality suggestions, storage estimates, and compression estimates are informational and may not always be complete or accurate. AiClean is a storage-management aid, not a backup, archival, data-recovery, or security service.
Your decisions and backups
AiClean does not automatically delete your photos, videos, or Gmail messages based only on a scan result. You decide which supported actions to initiate.
You are responsible for reviewing each selection before confirming a deletion, compression, archive, move-to-Trash, or other content-changing action. Before using these features, keep an independent backup of any content you cannot afford to lose.
Deleting or changing content can be permanent. Recovery may be unavailable depending on your device, storage provider, Gmail settings, elapsed time, or other circumstances. Video compression can reduce visual or audio quality, alter metadata, or produce a different file size than estimated.
Permissions and Google services
Some features require access to device storage, photos, videos, or a Google account. You choose whether to grant these permissions. You may deny or revoke them through your device or Google Account settings, although the related features may then stop working.
If you use Clean Email, Google handles authentication through OAuth 2.0. AiClean does not ask for your Google password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Google account and for activity you authorize through them.
When you use Clean Email, AiClean allows you to review Gmail messages and select messages to move to Trash. AiClean only performs these actions after you explicitly confirm them.
AiClean's access to and use of information received from Google APIs is described in our Privacy Policy.
Your content
You retain your rights in the photos, videos, emails, and other content you make available to the Service ("User Content"). These Terms do not transfer ownership of your User Content to us.
You give AiClean the limited permission needed to access, analyze, display, organize, compress, modify, or otherwise process User Content only to operate the features you request, maintain the Service, protect its security, and comply with applicable law. Our handling of personal information is governed by the Privacy Policy.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to use User Content with the Service. You must not use AiClean to access, alter, or remove content that you are not authorized to manage.
Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- Break the law or infringe another person's rights
- Access another person's device, account, messages, or content without authorization
- Distribute malware or harmful code, or interfere with the Service or its security
- Bypass access controls, usage limits, or safeguards
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where applicable law expressly permits it
- Resell, rent, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission
- Use Google services or APIs in a way that violates Google's applicable terms or policies
License and intellectual property
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to install and use AiClean on a device you own or control for its intended purpose.
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, branding, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted to you.
If you send feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or payment to you, but you are not required to provide feedback.
Third-party services
The Service may interact with third-party products and services, including Android, Google Play, Google OAuth, and Gmail. Your use of those products and services is governed by their own terms and policies, including the Google Terms of Service where applicable.
We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, content, security, or independent actions. Third-party service changes may affect or prevent parts of AiClean from working.
Changes and availability
We may update the Service to improve it, maintain security, comply with law or platform requirements, or change its features. Updates may add, modify, or remove functionality and may require a supported device, operating-system version, permissions, or network connection.
We do not promise that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or third-party service. Where required by law, we will provide notice or remedies for material changes.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may uninstall AiClean from your device. You can revoke Google access through your Google Account settings.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you materially or repeatedly violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, misuse the Service, or if suspension is reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties, or the Service. Where appropriate and legally required, we will give you notice and an opportunity to address the issue.
Sections that by their nature should continue after termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and applicable law—will remain in effect.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not make guarantees about scan accuracy, duplicate or similarity detection, file quality, storage savings, compression results, message categorization, uninterrupted availability, or recovery of deleted or modified content.
You remain responsible for checking results and deciding whether to act on them. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or other rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, content, profits, revenue, business, or goodwill arising from or related to the Service.
We do not limit or exclude liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Your local law may give you additional rights and may not permit some of the limitations above.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the Service, our practices, platform requirements, or applicable laws change. The updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide additional notice where required by law. By continuing to use the Service after updated Terms take effect, you agree to the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
Applicable law and consumer rights
These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to your relationship with the provider of AiClean, without overriding any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
Before beginning formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue. You may also have the right to contact a consumer-protection body or bring a claim before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
